Welcome Sequence

The Goal:

An irresistible welcome sequence to encourage, educate, and engage new subscribers.


The Client:

Danielle Roberts, The Anti-Career Coach.

Danielle is focused on helping her clients identify patterns of work behavior that are leading to burnout, overwhelm, and a failed pursuit of “work-life balance”. Danielle has been featured in Forbes, and NBC News, and is a regular guest on podcasts and news outlets.

We had 3 targets to hit:

  • Educate new subscribers about the anti-career shift and what they can expect from us in future emails.

  • Encourage new subscribers that there is hope. A life of drudgery and fatigue isn’t the only path!

  • Engage new subscribers both in their inboxes and outside of their inboxes.

We devised a 5-day sequence with an additional email follow-up 1 month later.

  • These emails averaged a 70% open rate and a 5% click rate

  • We regularly receive responses from readers that lead to deeper conversations (and conversions)

  • Have an unsubscribe rate of less than .7%

The best news?

The audience showed strong engagement throughout the entire sequence.
